In what situation a Muslim allow to tell lie

Introduction 

Telling lies is not allowed at all in the Islam religion. As a Muslim no one can tell lie ever. But still, there are some situations or conditions when a Muslim allow to tell lie. 

Related Hadith 

It is seen in Hadith No. 4921 of Abu Dawood Sharif that Prophet Karim (PBUH) said that it is permissible to lie in 3 places.

First Situation

A husband/wife can tell lie to Impress his wife/husband. In this Circumstance Islam allowed every Muslim to tell lie. Again if your wife is Stubborn and becomes angry in some matter then you will be allowed to tell lie to calm her down. 

Second Situation 

For saving someone's life from danger or dead, a Muslim can tell lie. On the other hand, in Islam, it's your responsibility to save someone's life. Again It is permissible to lie to settle a dispute between two people.

Third Situation  

In the time of WAR, you can tell lie. Olamaye Keram said that when you were arrested on the battlefield, they asked you how many soldiers are you?  Then you can say more as a tactic of war there, as the Prophet Karim (PBUH) used to announce that tomorrow morning I will perform Fajr prayers and I will go to the east with the soldiers but it would be seen that he would go to the west after the prayers.  Because the hypocrites were in the night prayers, they would inform the enemies about it, so Rasulullah (saws) used to do this as a tactic of war.
